Blaxmyth came to the project thanks to Warren Holden, who saw them perform on the final night of the Bodog Music "Battle of the Bands" at the House of Blues in Hollywood. What can I say? Blaxmyth are "ghetto metal" and have created their own genre, mixing heavy metal and hip-hop with a socially conscious message.

Emerging from the grungy hardcore underground scene of Los Angeles, BLAXMYTH represents an alternative to popular, commercial music while introducing a brand new sound/style/genre/movement to the willing urban music masses. BLAXMYTH is the spawned, hybrid 'supergroup' originally formed by the late, great 'D-Roc, The Executioner' from the legendary band, BODYCOUNT (w/ Ice T).

Spiritually wounded by D-Roc's fateful passing yet moved and inspired by the brilliant, incomparable legacy he passed on, the band has reformed & reloaded with new management, direction, spirit, purpose and mission. This inventive dominant & rhythmic style is called "GHETTO METAL" (coined by D-Roc).
